"Let’s look at what most Muslims eat. White rice, white bread, lots of meat, very little vegetables,mike, caffeine in coffee and tea, white 
sugar, white salt, white flour, and all kinds of sweet pastries. All over the Muslim world, Muslims smoking is as common as saying As-
Salaamu-Alaikum.  

         You may be saying what is wrong with these foods. These foods are processed, even the  salt.  They  have  been  
strapped  of  their  nutrients.   Originally  rice,  flour  and  sugar  is  brown.   They  turn  it  white  by  processing  them.   Salt  is  naturally  
white  but  they  process  salt.  They  say  this  is  why  so  many  people  have  high  blood  pressure.   The best  salt  to  use  is  sea  
salt.   The  milk  that  is  now  sold  in  America  and  European  countries  is  no  good ,  although milk  is  Halal.   The cows  that  make  
this  milk  are  given  steroids,  hormones,  antibiotics  and  the  cows  are  given  feed  that  has  all  kinds  of  pesticides  in  them.   This 
 is  why  people  who  drink  milk  from  these  cows  and  milk  products  like  ice  cream  have  allergies.

          Here  in  American  and  though  out  the  world,  Muslims  are  suffering  from  serious  health  problems.   The  kufar  is  now  
turning  away  from  all  this  bad  food.   They  are  banding  smoking  even  outside  in   some  states  like  California.   The  kufar  is  
now  exercising,  growing  organic  food  and  raising  chickens  and  cows  without  all  those  dangerous  drugs.   Once  again  the  
Muslims  are  being  left  behind.   Most  Muslims  know  nothing  about  nutrition  and  exercise,  that’s   why  I  fill  the  need  to  write  a  
book  about  the  best  foods  for  Muslims  to  eat.   I  buy  a  lot  of  Islamic  books  but  I  never  see  books  about  the  best  foods  to 
 eat  in  Muslim  book  stores.   From  looking  at  the  health  conditions  of the  Muslims ,  it  looks  like  we  eat  in  seven  intestines,  
instead  of  one.   Even  if  we  eat  the  best  food,  you  can  still  get  sick,  if  that’s  what  Allah  has  decreed  but  we  must  do  what  
we  can  to  stay  healthy.


        I will now give you some of the things that must be done to give your body good food.

1 -  Give  up  white  rice  for  brown  rice.   They  have  basmati  brown  rice,  $13.00  for  10 LBs
2 -  You   must  stop  drinking  Somali  tea,  which  is  full  of  milk,  sugar,  and  caffeine. 

If   you want to drink tea, go to Kroger or Publix and buy Celestial  Season Tea with no caffeine.   Use a little honey to sweeten your tea.  
What we should be drinking is spring water.  Do not drink any more water from the faucet.  Go to Family Dollar and buy Crystal Geyser 
Spring Water.  It costs 

           one dollar per gallon. Drink more water, no milk or Somali tea.   

3 -  Do not drink any sodas of any kind. They are full of sugar. Sugar works to break down your immune system among other things.
4 -  Use sea salt and reduce the amount of salt you use.
5 - Reduce the amount of meat you eat, and increase the amount of vegetables you eat.  Somalis and other Muslims do not eat 
enough vegetables.  
6 - In the mornings eat oatmeal  with raisins. Rolled oats are the best.  In the mornings also eat fruit.   We do not eat enough fruit.
7- Leave all pastries alone for now.  If you want something sweet, eat some fruit or dried fruit like raisins.
8 - Do not eat anything from Dunkin Donuts.  Everything is made from white flour and sugar.  You know that this is the Somali hang 
out – smoking,  drinking coffee, and eating sweet pastries. This is not conductive for good health, and this is a waste of money, time, and 
good health.
9. After you have changed your diet, you must start exercising every day.  Exercising is the best free medicine you can give your 
body.  It is reported that the Prophet (S) said the strong Muslim is better than the weak Muslim.  How many Muslims do we know who 
exercise every day and know the health benefits of exercise? 
10 - Most people who change their diets to what I have presented to you will see an immediate improvement in their health.  Only the 
people who Allah has written for them to stay sick will not improve.

    What I have said about the best foods to eat is common knowledge among people who are changing their diets instead of staying in 
the doctor’s office.  All medicines that people take have  side effects that will also make you sick or sicker. 

    Now even though you may start eating brown rice, more fruit and vegetables you will have to start taking herbs and vitamins.  You 
must do this because man has destroyed the quality of the earth.  The soil has been stripped of it’s nutrition.  We are not getting what we 
are suppose to be getting from our food.  Therefore, to make up for this we must take herbs and vitamins.  I will tell you what I take on a 
daily basics.  Later on in my book on health, insha Allah, I plan to go into detail about the benefit of each food,  herb, and vitamins we 
take.  Anyone can go to the internet and google in the benefits of brown rice or the benefit of anything that I have said is good for you.  
That will be the proof of what I have said. 

     This is what I take each and every day at the age of almost sixty two.  So, far I am never sick.  I have never ha d a headache.  Every 
day I live pain free.  I have a lot of energy every day to do what I want to do, at the age of sixty two.  I have never been on any medicine 
that I had to take every day.  I take no drugs from the doctor.  Now, all praise is due to Allah who decreed this for me.  I realize that my  
body right now could have cancer or some other disease.  I don’t care what food you eat or what vitamins you take, they can not save 
you from what Allah has written for you.  

    Each day I take Kyolic odorless garlic.  It will say on the bottle vegetarian capsules.  Garlic is a natural antibiotic.  I take 2000 mg of 
vitamin c, 100mg of zinc, 4mg of copper, and 5000 IU of vitamin D.  Vitamin D is what you get from the sun.  African people really need 
this vitamin, because we do not get enough sun any more.  I take 400 IU of vitamin E.  I take a combination of  calcium magnesium and 
potassium.  And lastly, I take ginseng.  American ginseng is best if you have high blood pressure.  

     My normal routine is to walk two and a half or three miles each day.  Each one half mile I do twenty or twenty five push ups.  This is 
eighty or more push ups each day for upper body and arm strength.  

     If you need me to buy these things for you, let me know and insha Allah, I can go get them for you.  The main thing is to change your 
diet and start exercising.  May Allah purify us from all forms of shirk and bidah.  O Allah! Verily, I seek refuge with You from weakness, 
laziness, senility, cowardness, stinginess, and the torment of the grave.  O Allah! Give my soul its good and purify it, for You are the best 
to purify it.  You are its Guardian and Master.  O Allah! Verily I seek refuge with You from a heart that is not humble, a soul that is not 
satisfied, knowledge that does not benefit and a supplication that is not answered".
